Trump: McConnell a “dumb son of a bitch” who won’t “fight” Biden “packing” the Supreme Court
Pollemix News – April 13, 2021
Former President Donald Trump blasted Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell as being too “helpless” and not having the necessary fight to stop Democrats packing the Supreme Court after President Biden established a commission to study whether to appoint additional judges to the highest court in the land.
“Our politically correct Supreme Court will get what they deserve – an unconstitutionally elected group of Radical Left Democrats who are destroying our Country,” Trump said in a statement issued through his Save America PAC. Adding, “With leaders like Mitch McConnell, they are helpless to fight. He didn’t fight for the Presidency, and he won’t fight for the Court.”
The attack on McConnell comes only days after Trump excoriated the Kentucky Senator at a Republican National Committee gathering hosted at his own Mar-A-Lago Club on Saturday, where he doubled down on his claims that he won the 2020 election and lambasted the Kentucky Senator for refusing to fight the result.
“If that were Schumer instead of this dumb son of a bitch Mitch McConnell, they would never allow it to happen. They would have fought it.”
McConnell and Trump enjoyed a cordial relationship until the aftermath of the 2020 Presidential Election. While then President Trump continued to push unverified voter fraud claims, McConnell largely remained silent until after the January 06 Insurrection, shortly after which McConnell chastised Trump as being responsible for the riot and urged him to concede gracefully.
Although President Biden is approaching 100 days in office, Trump has steadfastly maintained that the election was “stolen” from him and his latest barbs indicate that he is still furious at GOP leadership for not supporting his voter fraud claims. McConnell has largely ignored Trump’s insults and has instead sought to impede Biden implementing his progressive agenda, particularly as Democrats seek to end the filibuster and pack the Supreme Court.
