As soon as Donald Trump burst onto the political scene, the media bifurcated into two camps. Mainstream media relentlessly attacked him as unfit for office and cast most of their Trump coverage in a negative light.
Conversely, conservative media and right wing radio became increasingly obsequious and deified the former President as the savior of America. Fox News in particular became the President's voice in many ways with the network's fawning and sycophantic coverage criticized as being akin to that of North Korean state media.
