Amidst the turmoil of a chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan and a resurgent Covid pandemic, calls from Republicans that President Biden should be impeached are growing louder. Biden's predecessor Donald Trump was impeached twice by Democrats during his tenure and Republicans are clamoring for revenge. President Biden's supporters, however, claim the calls for impeachment are just political theater. Is this an attempt to even the ledger for impeaching Trump? Is tit-for-tat impeachment healthy for democracy and is it our inevitable future?
