Despite Donald Trump's loss in the 2020 Presidential Election he remains by far the most powerful figure within the Republican Party. In recent weeks GOP leadership has made it clear that Trump is still the kingmaker in the party by silencing criticism from 'Never Trumpers' such as Liz Cheney.
With Donald Trump the clear favorite to lead the party into the next election should Congressional Republicans be required to sign a loyalty pledge to Trump promising their unequivocal and undying support?
