As Biden's presidency gains steam, members of the Democrat party are looking to pass legislation to allow free college, trade school and university education for families earning less than $125,000 per annum. Proponents claim that the bill will allow the US to retain its standing as the most educated and innovative nation in the World and that education should not be denied to those unable to afford it.
In contrast detractors of the plan maintain that this is unfair to those who have paid for an education and that taxpayers, many of whom did not go to college themselves, will have to foot the bill.
