In the last two decades the polarization of America has become increasingly intensified and the divide between the Right and the Left has never been greater. Following the election of Donald Trump in 2016 the rift has only grown with Liberals claiming that the Trump Presidency was the initial stages of a slide into right wing authoritarianism and fascism. Now with President Biden in the White House, conservatives counter that the progressive policies he is looking to implement are the first steps towards socialism in America.
