Following the ouster of Liz Cheney from the GOP leadership over her criticism of former President Trump, conservative 'Never Trumpers' declared they would be exploring establishing a new Third Party to attract disaffected Republican voters repulsed by Trump. Although, Trump is overwhelmingly popular among Republican voters a second conservative party could siphon off enough votes to guarantee a Democrat victory and prevent Trump returning to the Presidency in 2024.
