The 2020 Presidential Election exposed deep fault lines between the American populace. Nowhere was this more apparent than online with 'big tech' facing calls to combat 'hate speech' whilst simultaneously being criticized for suppressing freedom of speech.
Proponents point to the January 06 Capitol riots as justification for clamping down on 'hate speech' and misinformation, whilst those opposed say that canceling the speech and livelihoods of those whom we don't agree with is a slippery slope.
