President Donald Trump addressed reporters in his first public remarks since the storming of the Capitol Building last Wednesday, claiming that his bombastic speech on the day was “totally appropriate” and that he wanted “no violence”. The President also lashed out at Democrats for launching a second impeachment inquiry, despite him being only days away from leaving the White House, calling it “a continuation of the greatest witch hunt in the history of politics.”
