WATCH: Arnie compares Capitol riot to Kristallnacht, calls Proud Boys today’s Nazi’s

Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger issued a stirring speech on social media condemning the violent sacking of the Capitol Building and compared the event to rise of Nazi Germany. Schwarzenegger, who is a Republican, was scathing in his assessment of Trump calling him the “worst president ever.”

He then made a historical comparison to Kristallnacht ‘Night of the Broken Glass’ where Nazi stormtroopers and civilians attacked Jewish businesses across the country in one evening, the first salvo in what would eventually lead to the Holocaust. Schwarzenegger also took aim at the extreme right wing Proud Boys saying, “it was a night of rampage against the Jews carried out in 1938 by the Nazi equivalent of the Proud Boys.”
