With Russia continuing to build up troops along the Ukraine border, fears are growing that Vladimir Putin will soon invade. As a US ally, Ukraine is hoping that the US will render military assistance if Russia does occupy the Crimea, however, a war-weary American public remains divided on whether we should get involved. While some say that Putin is attempting to start a new Cold War and the US must stand with its allies, opponents of US intervention say that America has enough domestic issues to deal with and its up to the Ukraine to defend itself against Russian aggression.
